Prof. Amos O. Enabulele

Editor-in-Chief

Faculty of Law, University of Benin, Nigeria

Professor of Public International Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Benin, Nigeria. Professor Enabulele is the founding Executive Director of the Centre for Community & Oceanic Law (CFComLaw) and serves as Editor-in-Chief of JCIL. He is a resource person to the ECOWAS Community Court of Justice, a legal aid counsel at the African Court on Human and Peoples' Rights, and led CFComLaw's successful application for Observer Status at the International Seabed Authority (ISA) in 2024. His research interests span the law of the sea, ECOWAS integration law, and public international law.

Faculty of Law, University of Benin, Nigeria

Professor of Law (Private and Property Law) at the Faculty of Law, University of Benin, Nigeria. A barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, Professor Ewere brings deep expertise in private law, property rights, and human rights — particularly the rights of women in the ECOWAS region. He oversees JCIL's research agenda and the academic quality of all published work.

A dynamic legal practitioner and PhD candidate at the Faculty of Law, University of Benin. Michael brings both academic rigour and practical legal experience to JCIL's editorial operations. He coordinates the journal's policy engagement activities, manages the editorial calendar, and liaises with contributing authors and reviewers across the ECOWAS region.
